Essentials: Degree/Diploma in wildlife tourism preferable. Experience in game farm management & maintenance, game breeding experience, wildlife fencing and anti-poaching. Good understanding of Tourism & Guest management, Computer literate, with strong admin skills. Extremely honest and trustworthy, hard-working, adaptable to new environments. Valid driver’s license.

Location: Northern Namibia

Salary: Basic salary, housing, company vehicle, other general ‘live-in’ benefits, + performance incentive.

Details: Are you a young, qualified Wildlife/Conservation & Tourism person with an entrepreneurial business flare? Do you have game farm management experience and looking for an exciting opportunity to grow the business within a operation while enjoying a good quality life? The farm consists of 13,000ha in the vicinity of the Etosha National Park, Kunene, Namibia.

We are recruiting for a young, dynamic Game Farm Manager who will be responsible for the care, breeding & feeding of game, maintenance of the farm, lodge & garden infrastructure (incl. fencing, roads), and responsible for patrolling & anti-poaching functions. The Game Farm Manager needs to be energetic and have the knowledge, ability and experience to manage the game animal/wildlife conservation aspect of the farm, maintain the existing infrastructure, manage staff members, and grow the guest lodge business entity. The successful candidate will report directly to the Resort General Manager. There is a formal management plan with monthly management meetings scheduled for reporting.

Requirements: Relevant Degree/Diploma/Experience with wildlife/game farm operations.

 

Operational Expertise:
